I believe that’s Huck369’s from subaru-svx.net. If I remember correctly, that one has a 5-speed swap in addition to being resprayed in that yellow/black combination.
There were factory yellow SVXs, but they were only single tone cars (none had a black roof or upper deck lid). Bright Yellow (color code 518) was only available in Germany, the UK, and possibly Japan (and a few other places), and is quite rare (I’ve heard 6 produced total, but that’s unverified).
(ignore that this one is two brochure pages poorly stitched together)

As weird a car the SVX is/was, I still can’t get over how the later year grilles just didn’t look quite right compared to the earlier ones.

I would if I actually participated on that forum, rather than just stalk it...
Maybe he’ll see it here?

I’ve never seen one in a bright color. Always dark green, or a shade of grey. That looks quite amazing.

Even worse, in my opinion, was the chrome version fitted to some of the later JDM models.

Eeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhh...
Still not PRETTY by any means, but it is a LITTLE better than the body colored version.
My reasoning is that because of the chrome reflectors in the headlights, it’s a bit more... “continuous”, like the early model grille was. The body colored version just makes it look like a tacked-on afterthought. That said, I’m sure the chrome version looks way worse in person than it does in that pic. I’ll take the early “waterfall” style every time
